EYHA Announces new Goaltending Coach

Euclid Youth Hockey Association is pleased to announce a working agreement with Ohio Hockey Project goaltending coach Ed Zdolshek for the 2018-19 season.  Ed will be instructing EYHA goaltenders on selected Thursdays throughout the season and brings a high level resume, including Junior A hockey (EJHL and CCHL), NCAA D3 (Nazareth College), and professional experience in the FHL and ECHL.  Ed's sessions run from 5:30 to 6:30 at the C.E. Orr Arena and are exclusively for EYHA goalies (12U and up) on the following dates:  9/27, 10/11, 10/25, 11/8, 11/15, 11/29, 12/6, 12/20, 1/3, 1/17, 1/31, 2/14, and 2/28.

Ed Zdolshek

Growing up in Parma, Ed Zdolshek played his youth career for the Parma flyers. Throughout the summer Eddie is a key coach with all of Ohio Hockey Projects goaltending specific programming as well as their Development Programs. Eddie does a tremendous job communicating the technical aspects of the position as well as acting as a beacon of positivity for young goalies.

  • Pioneered the Nazareth College hockey program as the first ever class in the program. (NCAA – D3)
  • 4-year starter Eddie helped take Nazareth’s program from a start-up program, to one of legitimate national recognition and respect.
